I watched your Tealtown postgame. I’d like to comment about your conversations pertaining to fans dissatisfaction. The fans have way more issues with the organization than just the lack of printed tickets although printed tickets are one of the many complaints. A couple of STH have taken on the mission of trying to get our voices heard for the past year. After three face to face with management and various correspondence we feel that our concerns haven’t been addressed. On the matter of the Chairmans Lounge I feel I can shed some light on that since I was personally affected by the change. I do believe this was Flavil’s baby. It was shoved down our throats and as a long time STH. It was not something we wanted or appreciated although I was told many times it’s what the fans wanted. We weren’t even given any type of advance notice that this was happening or going to affect us personally. We found out about the Chairmans Lounge when we were billed $26,000 for the 2017/2018 season! Our ticket price doubled and somehow the organization felt it wasn’t important to let us know ahead of time. After meeting face to face with Flavil we were basically told if we didn’t like it then move out of our seats, which mind you we’ve sat in for years and loved! This is how he was treating the loyal fans who have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars supporting the Sharks. This is what started my frustration with the organization but fell on deaf ears when I tried to address with others in the organization. The Sharks organization has a lot of work to do to regain the trust of their loyal fans both present and past(those who dropped their tickets in the last couple of years in hopes of sending a message). In my opinion they are far from righting a sinking ship. I’m hopeful that new management starts listening to those who fund their career with the Sharks. The fans! Simply put…..without fans there would be no Sharks!
