While the Pittsburgh Penguins won 2-1 in overtime, the San Jose Sharks gave them a tougher fight as opposed to their 8-5 matchup on January 2nd. Rudolfs Balcers got then lone Sharks goal as Team Teal put up 41 shots on Penguins netminder Louie Domingue. Jake Guentzel got the game winner in overtime, giving the Sharks their first loss in 3 on 3 this season.
