Ducks Soar Over Sharks, Losing 5-2 – 4/26/2022 – Teal Town USA After Dark (Postgame)

Sharks throw a lot of rubber to the net in the 1st period (17 shots), but still manage to give up the first goal of the evening to Trevor Zegras. The outlook of the game only got darker in the 2nd, when the Ducks would score two more unanswered goals for a 3-0 lead. Sharks finally get their first goal 15:32 in the 2nd period on a Brent Burns PPG. Reedy would then follow up 2 shifts later with a goal cutting the lead to just 1 going into the third. Josh Mahura would seal the Sharks fate with a goal halfway in the 3rd and with an empty netter Ducks would go on to win 5-2. Kahkonen would save 26 of 30 shots face for an .867 save PCT%.
