The Sharks would show some early fight in a physical affair with the Philadelphia Flyers with an early Hertl goal setup by Erik Karlsson. Flyers would battle back and counter punch in the first with Konecny’s 16th on the season. Hertl would add a power play marker in the second frame, giving the Sharks an ounce of hope they might pull out a W. Labanc would lengthen the lead, but the consistent attack of the Flyers would pay off with a pair of goals to even up the game with 2:05 left in the third. The boys looked gassed in the OT and Tony DeAngelo would take advantage of a 2 on 1 to give the W to the Flyers. Landi and Mark break it down and try to make sense of it.
