The San Jose Sharks’ luck ran out in the third period, with the Edmonton Oilers controlling the play and getting the 5-3 win. San Jose finishes 2-3 on their five game road trip and erased a 3-1 deficit but couldn’t take advantage of an opportunity given to leapfrog and get back into a playoff position.
