The Sharks’ week was a pretty accurate demonstration of the emotional hazards of being a fan: one blown lead, one frustrating loss, but then two wins to remind us why we keep fanning. Celebrini continues to look like he’s playing a different sport, while the Sharks’ occasional defensive adventures suggested that protecting a lead remains more of a suggestion than a team policy. The bright side? They bounced back against Montreal with an overtime win, then finally found a regulation win, with goals coming at even strength, on the power play, and shorthanded. Why score one way when you can make the goalie’s evening miserable in every possible fashion?
We get into all that… as well as trends that need to go the other way, special teams saving the day, hometown remix jersey leaks that haven’t happened yet, and determine if it’s okay to tell someone what they’re allowed to say. We’ll get into other nonsense as well and at some point, Jules will cover another week of the San Jose Barracuda splitting games.
