It was a traded netminder matchup as Alexandar Georgiev took on his former squad, the Colorado Avalanche while Mackenzie Blackwood returned to San Jose after being traded last week. Blackwood and the Avs would top the Sharks 4-2, with San Jose becoming the first team in NHL history to lose three straight home games while having a third period lead. The Eriks (Landi and Kuhre) broke down another tough loss and winless homestand.
