• Lukas Radil Signs With Spartak In KHL
• The 2019-20 regular season is officially complete for awards and recording-keeping purposes
• Hahn, Baker, Hedi and Coyne do a season review
• There have been recent zoom calls on the Sharks site with players such as Logan Couture, Tomas Hertl, and Brent Burns as well as Mario Ferraro and Erik Karlsson. I’m not trying to be nit-picky but EK is the only player to show up late and feature his baby crying through parts. For the most part, players spin it as ‘”we’ll learn from this, insert another cliche”.
• Recent comments from Bob Boughner and Martin Jones appear to echo comments we’ve heard since the start of the season regarding turmoil with the team.
• Evander Kane takes part in racism special on NBCSN Bay Area. Kane also calls out Sidney Crosby and others. Also retweets debunked video. Owner Hasso Platter issues statement of support for Kane.
• Kendall Coyne Schofield tweets positive statement, admitting not knowing what taking a knee meant 4 years ago. Is this a non-apology apology? PR move?
• Other players including Couture and EK65 post message on social media.
• Will anything actually change? We’ve seen protest before… Rodney King, Oscar Grant, etc… and has much changed?
• Discussing our recent interview with Doug Wilson
• NHL teams address racism on social media in light of George Floyd murder. Some do well, some don’t. NY Rangers appear to be only team to make no statement
• The draft lottery for the 2020 NHL draft will include the seven teams that didn’t qualify for the 24-team playoff tournament + the eight teams eliminated in the qualifying round.
• 2 hub cities, each conf gets one.
