With the Sharks still missing key contributors such as Karlsson, Meier and Labanc, the team was able to pot 5 goals tonight in a rousing 5-3 win over the Sabres. Tomas Hertl was dominate tonight, winning 76.9% of his face-offs adding 2 goals and an assist to the score sheet. The Couture line with his two young Swede wingers Dahlen and Eklund also managed to produce a gritty goal that help give the Sharks a quick lead in the first. Ryan Merkley added a nifty first goal of his career and dazzled with his excellent stick work in the offensive zone. Mario Ferraro also showed off a booming shot for his first goal of the season capping of his career high 28:48 mins of ice time in a game. While the stats bore poorly for Reimer tonight he played anything but poorly, making key saves to keep the Sharks in the lead for most of the game. Landi and Ian break down all of that and more in this addition of Teal Town USA After Dark.
