The San Jose Sharks are officially eliminated from the playoff race in a 5-4 shootout loss to Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday night. Timo Meier and Tomas Hertl had a pair of points, with strong netminding from James Reimer. But it wasn’t enough as Alex DeBrincat with three assists, along with Patrick Kane and Dylan Strome leading the way to a Chicago win.
