Sharks Comeback in Third, Ultimately Lose to Panthers 4-3 in Shootout – 11/3/2022 – Teal Town USA After Dark (Postgame)

The San Jose Sharks had only three goals in the third period entering tonight. They matched it, scoring three in the third, making a great comeback, that ultimately fell short. Team Teal loses to the Florida Panthers 4-3 in the shootout despite leading late in regulation. Timo Meier had his 4th goal in his last four games, and Erik Karlsson continues his hot streak with 11 points in a four game stretch. His goal put him as the second leading scorer in the NHL. EK 65’s 10 goals in 13 games ties for 3rd fastest defenseman to get to double digits in a season. The only two defensemen in NHL history have required fewer games to score 10 goals in a season: Harry Cameron in 1917-18 and King Clancy in 1929-30.
