After a slow start, and Eisbaren Berlin scored the opening goal, Team Teal scored twice in 40 seconds late in the second period to take the lead for good. Tomas Hertl had a goal, Steven Lorentz got the game winner, and Luke Kunin had a shorthanded goal to lead San Jose 3-1 over Berlin in the 2022 NHL Global Series Challenge.
